Licensing and pricing

Quick answer

EasySwitch is free forever for two computers, including encryption and the clipboard. Pro (one-time $49, up to 5 computers) and Business (one-time $179, up to 25 computers) remove the 10 MB transfer limit and add the web bridge and second monitors. Not a subscription; verifies offline after one activation.

EasySwitch is one app for every tier. What you can do is set by a signed license key you paste into Settings — there’s no separate “pro build” to download.

What’s free, forever

  • Mouse and keyboard across two computers.
  • Clipboard — text, images and files up to 10 MB per transfer, including drag-and-drop.
  • End-to-end encryption and fingerprint pairing (never paid).
  • Automatic discovery, screen arrangement and per-device settings.

No account and no key needed for any of that.

What a license adds

PlanPriceComputersAdds
Free$02Everything above
Pro$49 one-timeup to 5Unlimited-size files and images, unlimited drag-and-drop, the web bridge, and second monitors
Business$179 one-timeup to 25Everything in Pro, sized for a team, with priority email support

Both paid plans are a one-time purchase — not a subscription. You pay once, every future update is included, and the key is yours. See the pricing page for the current offer and to buy.

Adding a key

Buy on the website, then paste the key into Settings, License in the app. The card shows your plan and the features it unlocks. That’s the only step — the desktop app itself never asks you to sign in.

Moving a license between computers

A seat is taken when you activate your key on a machine. To move a license:

  1. Sign in to your account on the website and open the device list for your license.
  2. Remove the computer you no longer use — that frees its seat instantly.
  3. Paste the key on the new machine.

Removing a license in the app’s Settings also frees the seat.

How activation stays private

Adding a key triggers exactly one network call, to activate the device; it returns a signed receipt that the app then verifies offline on every launch. There’s no account in the app, no telemetry, no periodic validation, and no hardware fingerprinting. A licensed app keeps working with the internet unplugged. Full detail is in Security and privacy.
